Web Techies Unite!
Come to the geekier side of the web world. Meet developers, programmers and data gurus - along with the people who manage web projects, wrangle web systems and otherwise run websites.
The goal is to encourage an exchange of tech information and to match techies with the web managers and recruiters who need them. And to let techies learn what needs web managers have, challenges they encounter and solutions that can be addressed with a little programmer magic.
You don't have to be a hard-core geek to join us. But you should have a good understanding of how websites work. If you've tweaked code, you're meant to be here!
We have lots to talk about. To make sure we get a good mix, we've invited a host of web tech experts to mix and mingle with you, including:
- Web CMS
- Ruby and other web frameworks
- Mobile development and administration
- Web project management
- Website management
- Integrating with Facebook/Google/Etc
Registration include appetizers and a drink ticket.
If you are hiring or looking for consultants, be sure to include that information when you register so we can match you with the right people.
If you are a techie looking for a job or consulting gig, we'll have flags for your nametag.
Administrative details:
If you don't have an overtly tech or web related role, be sure to include details in your registration - we require that to make sure that the balance is correct.
If you register in the web techie or web manager/technical PM roles, be sure to include details about your organization and position. If you aren't sure you qualify, feel free to contact us.
Why the different pricing? For this event, we want to ensure that we have more representation from the techie side. Short of of getting Apple to demo something or Google to show us a new toy, differentiated pricing seemed the best way.
